The moment that inspired me to buy one and learn: Riding the bus home from Honolulu to Kailua, and there was a boy in the back of the bus strumming tunes on his Ukulele. It made me think, “I want to do that one day, ride the bus and play the uke for strangers to make their ride a bit more enjoyable.”
